On Day 1 you were given a job within your civilization. Describe your initial thoughts about this role and how it will contribute to the overall society. What challenges do you think you will face?
I was given the ranching role. I work with Joe,DJ,Andrew, and Alec. The ranching role is very important for the entire civilization. We are responsible to raise animals such as pigs, chickens, wolfs, sheep, and horses. One challenge we might have to face later on in the project is that we may not have enough room for anymore animals. We will have to kill few for food supply for our civilization.
ReplyDeleteGood job reflecting on your role Alex!
DeleteMy job is a Miner. I like this job because i can see different type of gems like Coal, Diamond, cobblestone, and sliver. It's going to help the civilization because when a miner find something they can go back to give them to a crafter to make a weapon so they can mine more gems to give them to make more weapons for us.
ReplyDeleteim a rancher and it helps the city by giving people food and pets and what they need like eages and other stuff. I will have to face the part where if we dont have a nuff foood dor the animals they will die and we will run out of animals and food.
ReplyDeleteI think the minecraftedu is fun and challenging for all.I want to learn more and do more.I think everybody should play it.
ReplyDeleteOn Day 1 I was selected to be the captain of the Ranchers. My initial thoughts about my role is, that I think that it's very important because I provide food and i'm able to provide the ingredients to provide tools such as saddles, beds and arrows. The challenges I think i'll face is running out of materials, running out of animals, and running out food for the animals. Thank you, Jay-Nelly
ReplyDeleteWell, the thoughts of my role were to build as much for the class and have security like walls and sniper towers. To me, security was huge because if have a strong and big wall, we can hold off the attackers longer. If we don't have a strong wall we wouldn't hold off the attackers as long as if we had strong walls, now my second priority is building a apartment for people, a meeting room, a storage room in case our first storage room gets overrun by attackers and a temple/house. The challenges I have faces was trying to agree with other students in my team/role, some agree on my ideas and some disagree but at the end it all works out which I good, another challenge I have faced is hunger and amount of materials.
ReplyDeleteWhen I run out of materials I have to run all the way back the first storage room to get the materials, but if I run out of hunger then I can't run all the way to the storage room, instead I have to walk which takes ages to get there and come back. So here are the challenges I faces and the thoughts of my role.
On the first day i was given the job to be a crafter. The crafter's job was to craft items and melt ores for the people who needed it.Without the crafter's all the resources will not be there and the food all not get cooked and they will die. The only challenge we might face is forgetting crafting recipes and dying of hunger.
ReplyDeleteSome challenges that i think me and my team would face.Is making sure that their is enough room for everybody and that we build the stuff in the right place. Also at night because it can get really dark, and we still need some supplies. And also building some of the buildings.
ReplyDeleteRanching is important because we are raising the livestock that will become the food. I have never raised livestock so it will be a learning experience. I thought that being a rancher would be a pretty important role since we are producing food along with the farmers. Without food we will all be in danger. Some of the challenges that are possible to face is that the animals could escape from the pens and wander off. Another challenge that might be faced is that food could end up being scarce and we ranchers wont be able to feed the animals which means we cant breed them which also means no animals to kill for food. -Joe Aiello
ReplyDeleteJoe, it seems like you realize the importance of ranchers in the civilization. Nice job!
DeleteIn our minecraft civilizations, my team and I are lumberjacks. My initial thoughts on this job were that it seems to be pretty easy. We just have to chop down the trees, collect saplings, and replant. Although our job is pretty simple, I think it plays an important part in our civilization, because the builders need wood for buildings, and the crafters need wood for tools, and everyone needs tools for their jobs.
ReplyDeleteNicely stated, Emma!
DeleteOn day 1 I became a farmer and it feels good being one of if not the most important person. AS a farmer there is a lot of pressure and a lot of people yelling give us food but they don't know hard it is. First we have make sure to get to the soil and make sure it turns dark to plant some food and it takes some time for it to grow. Next we need to make sure the plants are sticking out of the ground to make sure we can grab it. Plus with bone meal we can make the plants grow faster but without bone meal we need to wait at least an hour for them to grow.
ReplyDeleteOn day one me and my group job are building houses and some other place for our class like rooms to sleep and do thing, is really hard to keep I not hungry when I run I get hungry or when I jump to much, so I need to eat but not just me get hungry really fast because that happens to everyone too. So for me survival in game is hard, but survival in real life at a very really long time to go is more difficult and hard.
ReplyDeletefirst I was disapionted not to be a miner but changed my tune while thinking about how farmming is like mineing with food.throughout my time as farmer brown I've been repitedly yelled at to magicly make cropos grow and it's geting rediculus!my futer problems might be keeping up with demands on potatoes, sugar and mellons.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first thought about it I was sad that I wasn't a builder, but it's fun to be a rancher. The challenge I think I will face is if I run out of food for me and the animals. This will contribute to
ReplyDeletethe society by giving them milk eggs and meat.
My initial thoughts about my role (farming) were "I hope my partners are good" and "I hope that me and my partners are able to get enough food to have for everyone". I believe that farming will contribute to the society in a way because without farming there would not be vegtables and many other foods and the food supply would be low. Without farming there would also be no food for the animals and they would starve. The type of challenges that I think we will face are, making enough plants and making sure we don't run out of seeds to plant for farming. Another challenge we might face is making sure that the food is finishing planting in time for people to eat.
ReplyDeleteI Think that this role is kind of boring but when people say that they need wood it makes it fun.It makes it like they need wood and if me and Daisy weren't there than there would be no wood. With wood you can make a lot of things like weapons to get materials.Or with the weapons you can fight off enemies to survive or capture animal meats.I think the challenged part is when people need wood everywhere when I can only go so fast and people are rushing me saying they need wood.
ReplyDeleteOn are first day of our Minecraft simulation of civilization we all got set with our own roles usually 3-4 people in each group had to provide for are society. I was put as a miner ,and I was suppose to get materials from the mine. This usually meant stone ,cobble stone or any type of ore. Then I would put the material in the chest category and the crafts men would use it to build what they needed. This contributed to the civilization because after the crafts men would take it. They would use it to make materials to help the community grow strong. For example ,if I found gold they could use it to make golden apples or carats for the ranchers. Even though doing this would be fun, there were many challenges that we faced. First, in my opinion getting out of the mine was very hard. The only way out was to climb the waterfall. The problem was you would run out of oxygen ,and when I would try to stick my head out for air ,and I would fall back down the waterfall back to the bottom. Another challenge was defiantly food. The Farmer couldn't grow the food fast enough without bone meal ,so most of us were at like 3 hunger bars. Mr.Dunn gave us food ,but some people took so much that there were barely enough for others. Over all I enjoyed the project ,and think it was a fun way to simulate how they had to live ,and survive.
ReplyDeleteOn Day 1 I got the job of lumberjack. Its is ok to begin with, but i like it mining trees for about 30 min is pretty cool. Their are also challenges you have to face if your doing your job. Say if i don't mine wood, Then i would be bad because what are the builders going to build. I will face some challenges on the way, but i need to fine out when i cut down some trees. We also need to have our hunger up so we don't die. -Eddy Amesquita
ReplyDeleteMy initial thoughts about the team challenge we have to do in Mine craft early civilizations today, was a little different than how I imagined. As in I didn't realize how fast my hunger would go down (I forgot that if you run a lot it goes down). As the lead rancher, it was pretty fun to work with animals in Mine craft. The way I think ranchers can contribute to our class Mine craft society is in many ways, as every job is important. Ranchers can breed animals for (although were not using the for pets or transportation) transportation, pets, armor, supplies, and mainly food. To keep a steady population of the different kinds of animal, we need to first breed them and then kill the adult animals for food, so we can all stay alive. Although today was easy since everybody got settled down, I do think we'll have more challenges ahead. Such as someone messing up their job and making the whole community fall behind, (if something happens to the farmers, we could possibly all die, or we wouldn't be able to breed any more animals.). I also think we could somehow be in danger, of possibly monsters or fire/ lava.
ReplyDeleteHello. Im a crafter in minecraft. How will i contribute to society? Well i have the second most important job.I have to make stuff for people to use. If Builders need wood. The Crafters Craft it if you need food we cook it. So thats How I will contribute to our society.
ReplyDeleteNow what challenges will I face. If lots of people need food and the farmers or Ranchers dont give it then were all doomed and would die.
Second is if,We have lots of orders and stuff we must craft and some people are absent like one or two. Then I say thatll be a challenge. There is ur awenser to ur question. -Dontae Rodriguez
I was given the job of being a builder. My role was building a big structure that everybody in the class could sleep and live in. Personally I was in charge of the roof of the house. I was pleased with this role as I have played Minecraft many times before and I felt like I was a pretty good builder. I think all of the jobs in our overall society are important. Building is important because if no one were to build homes then every body would die. Some people may be able to survive at night when all the mobs are out, but I feel like most would die right away. If everybody gathers around inside the home, then we could sleep and not have to face the potentially dangerous mobs. Since I don't play Minecraft on the computer too often I know I will face challenges. I think soon I will run out of the wood I have to build the home with and I will have to wait on a lumberjack to chop down more trees and make planks with it. I have already come into contact with a challenge. Since I need to build a roof it needs to go from the far wall all the way to the other side. When I usually build roofs I make a flat roof and then build fancy on top of that so I have room to walk around and not fall of and loose hearts. I decided to try something a little different for this build. Instead of making it flat first like a big box, I made it fancy on the top with no flat at all. This problem will hopefully be easily fixable if I be careful and maybe get some sort of armor. These are the only problems I foresee ad I hope no new ones appear. If things go right we will have a nice big home to live in and our Minecraft society will thrive. - Emily Elder
ReplyDeleteEmily, I'm rooting for your survival! Nicely thought-out answer.
DeleteOn the first day of our minecraft experience part 2, we were given a job so that we could help our society. My job was a builder. I thought this job would be really important, but at the same time, fun. I could decide how I wanted the style of the buildings to be, and I could choose how big the buildings should be. As an experienced player of minecraft, I really like to build and design in minecraft. So I thought that this could be really fun. Being a builder will contribute to the overall society because being a builder is going to be responsible for the whole society, we have to make sure everyone has a place to sleep, and we have to make a place where all of us can speak and discuss things. We also have to make watch towers so we could prevent enemies from invading. So being a builder is very important to have in our society, and is really helpful to our society.
ReplyDeleteSeems like you realize the importance of the "builder" role, Phoebe. What challenges do you think you will face along the way?
DeleteMy initial thoughts on my job is that it is really crazy and very, wild since I always have to scatter around in chests for supplies and I kept having to read notes for what people have ordered with so many requests with bone meal, food it was weird since I had to do everything fast for others I can't just keep them waiting, and people were throwing food Into lava, scattering food around chests annoying us, it was hard, And I contributed to society by giving them weapons, tools , food , seeds, bone meal and all of that. Although the challenges that I think that I will face are, hunger, hoards of people taking orders, no raw materials, and to much orders.
ReplyDeleteI liked my role but I came across a few problems! Every time I deposit food at the main food marketplace, one person was staying there and grabbing all the food! I forgot who it was but eventually he/she stoppped. They took around 1 stack of potatoes. Us farmers contribute to the society by feeding people, we deposit stuff at marketplace so herders can feed their animals as well. Everyone pitches in and overall it helps everyone. I like the idea of "ordering items" and waiting for the crafters arrival at your own work station. It just feels kosher and really fun. Our goal is to feed the people and workers. The challengers we'll face is probably
ReplyDelete1. Not having enough seeds
2. Dying of stavartion (somehow)
3. Being sent to mc jail (HOPE NOT)
4. Not having the food in time
5. Marketplace not very often
And thats all i can think of. So yeah!
Jorel, very insightful answer. I'm glad you are feeling "kosher" about this experience!
DeleteI think I help a lot with the society. As a crafter I have to Craft everything for everyone.People ask I make and without me there would be a lot of chaos because everyone would be asking everyone else and fighting everyone else for materials for their own job.I think I will face the challenge of eventually having to deal with people asking for materials at the same time.
ReplyDeleteOn day 1, we all broke up into different groups and received an assigned task that we had to complete, whether it was a miner, farmer, lumberjack, rancher, crafter, or builder. My team was made up of 4 builders. I believe that building plays a very important role in the society.I think so because you need a shelter to live in with a place to sleep because if you don't then the monsters on Minecraft will kill you. Also, it isn't easy to see in the dark and you never know what's around you in the dark. I think that a few challenges will eventually come along during the process of building homes for everyone. For instance, we may run out of blocks to make the houses out of and there would be a lot of pressure on the crafters and miners that give us the blocks that the builders need. Also, we might make the houses too small and not have enough space for everyone. We would probably have to extend them or make another one if we have any room. Other than that I think the process of building the houses would run quite smoothly if we all work together and listen to our building leader, Phoebe.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you realize the importance of working together in a civilization, Maya. Nicely done!
DeleteMy role is a farmer. I think being a farmer is important because its gives the others food. Its also keeps people living. Some challenges I think I would face is that like everything because I don't play minecraft at all so its very confusing to me and my team is very good and its hard for me. But planting challenges besides that I think my challenge I would face is like not having bone meal and running out of stuff to plant. Its good because the other people in other jobs can help each other out. Like today I think it was the miners but they gave us some bone meal.
ReplyDeleteMy initial thoghts about the role that was given to me is that we had to be super patient. I think that we had to be patient because we have to wait fr people to bring us all the raw materials. Another thought was that we had to be categorized. We have to be categorized because we can't just place our items in random chest, if that happened we would all be confused as to where we put our items. My final initial thought of being a crafter is that we have to generous. This my last thought because if the crafters receive items from minors, ranchers, farmers builders, and etc. and we just take the items for ourselve then we would put our whole society in jeopardy. We would be the ones to stay alive the longest. The challenges that i think we might face as a team is sharing supplies equally. Im infering this because that if we have sellfish people in our group they will take almost everything. I think they will because they might panic that they have low health and low on food and take everything without noticing.
ReplyDeleteThe minecraft project was fun but let me tell you something it is hard to be part of a civilization. If you are a miner like,me down in the caves you could get lost, trapped, or even killed with all the lava, water, and holes
ReplyDeleteWhen I got picked to be a lumberjack I was kind of happy because I only have to chop down trees or so I thought. What I thought the trees would contribute to the society is that the builders could use the wood some how in the buildings that they will be making. Another thing that I thought was the apples from the trees can feed people so they won't die of hunger. What challenges I think that I will face is that I might starve because the lumberjacks are far away from the drop off place, only sometimes we find apples to eat but, that's it.
ReplyDeleteI am a rancher so that means I have to breed the animals and use them for food. I thought that this role would be pretty easy because all you have to do is breed the animals and kill them but I soon realized that without the miners getting gold we ranchers cant feed the horses. In minecraft horses eat golden apples or golden carrots. And without the miners getting gold the horses can't eat. And if the horses can't eat we can't breed them. And if we can't breed them we wont have enough meat for our society. One of the challenges we have already faced is that there is not enough gold so we can't properly feed and breed the horses. Also I think that one challenge we will we might face is that one type of animal will go extincted and then we can't breed any more of the particular animnal.
ReplyDeleteOn Day 1 we were given jobs. My job as a Rancher is to spawn animals, feed them, and kill them once they're ready! My thoughts about this job is that, we have to work extra hard to not let the animals loose, but its also going to be fun because we get to care for animals which i love but it's also going to be sad when we have to put them to sleep. Some Challenges I think my group is going to face is, keeping the animals from running away. For example, I let a chicken loose and sadly i had to kill him. That's definitely a hard challenge. Another challenge is the animals getting out of control because then we won't be able to control them. Those are challenges and thought i think of my job.
ReplyDeleteMy job was set as a rancher. My job is so much fun. We breed the animals and provide meat. Our role is important because if people we food we send meat to the crafters.Challenges I think we will face are killing the actual animals that we be so hard for us. One more challenge I think we will face is getting the stuff we need to breed. We were putting in orders like sheers and seeds to breed animals.
ReplyDeletemy first experience in Minecraft with this job was vary stressful. I had to make supplies for the farmers and miners (other groups did not ask for supplies). the materials I tried to make for the farmers and miners were bone meal wheat seeds and (I think) flint and steal. the reason it was stressful is mostly the farmers they need a lot of bone meal and QUICK so it made it vary stressful for me Gavin and Ej. I expect a lot more requests for our group and as time goes on it will get less stressful for us.
ReplyDeleteI think that this role is the second important because we have to create things that will help grow our "Kingdom" . Also we have to make or cook food for people to eat. I think we might face trees are going by too fast and if their are not planting the trees than that day will come soon. Also we might have some miners with ores and stone that would fall in lava and that would cause us to suddenly stop.
ReplyDeletemy thoughts about this role is that I'm going to have to make sure theirs enough room for everybody and making sure that we are all safe. I think that this is going to help the contribute because I can make sure everybody gets to sleep somewhere. I'm pretty sure I'm going to face a lot a challenges but I know I can make my way around it. some of the challenges might be height because you can fall while your building. Another challenge is tools we might not have the right tools yet and we are breaking with our hands we need axes or something like that.
ReplyDeleteI like them role Im playing because they crafers might need some rocks or gold to create something special or something that stans out. I think that in the overall society I will try to be good to the civilization by doing what I suppose to do stick to mining and I won't argue with anybody.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the role I was given because at some point I might have to kill a farm animal for food. Personally I can't kill animals it makes me upset. The challenges I think I will face is killing the animals and or feeding them. It will be hard to feed he animals because they eat different things.
ReplyDeleteBoom, pop! You can barely hear those words since they go so fast. That is what it is like with our hunger bar in Minecraft, it goes down so fast that we all need food at once. I am on the farmer's team. At first I had thought that farming would be the easiest job out of all the teams, but I was very wrong. Our team's job was to feed about 20 or more people. I don't think anyone really understood how long it takes for crops to grow without bone-meal. Luckily, we had a little bone-meal. This role is very challenging, due to the fact that everyone's hunger was going down so fast. From across the room in the computer lab I could hear people scream, "I'm going to die of hunger," and someone actually did. One, they should have been using their hunger wisely, and two, that was on the herder's team and our team to give them food to eat. Our team may have one of the most important job's of all. We are the ones that are making the food for everyone to stay alive. Just like in real life, we can't go without food and water, it's the same concept on Minecraft. Thankfully our team is a hard working team and we all know what to do. Our team worked very fast, or as fast as we could, when something would grow, we would run in the marketplace and store it. Some challenges that we might face are not growing the food fast enough, as well as when people come in to the farming area, break our crops for us, and try and get their own food. In addition, if we don't have enough seeds for more planting, it won't end well. That is how Our team and I Contribute to the society and the frightening challenges we may face in the next stages of Mincraft.
ReplyDeleteBoom, pop! What a great response, Abby! It's clear that you can see the difficulty in providing all the food for the civilization.
DeleteMy initial thoughts were this is pretty easy, but then it was taking quite long for the crops to grow.Well, that's when things started going downhill, and everyone started complaining that they weren't getting any food. Being a farmer in this situation its all on you even though you cant control how fast the crops grow. Also its kind of their fault they were starving because they kept on losing health and dying faster than everyone else, so they needed food to survive and yet still didn't realize that it was their fault
ReplyDeleteI loved my role on the first day. We had to make food, and we kind of helped the herders and the herders helped us. To contribute to society we fed the villagers and workers, (maybe we fed some animals) A challenge is people not doing what they're supposed to do. Someone was camping the marketplace and taking the food out of the chest right away all the time they took like a stack of potato. We sometimes run out of seeds and a few people died of hunger, which is really bad for us because our job is to feed people. Us farmers did okay, but it wasnt our best job. I liked day 2 kind of..
ReplyDeletethe challenge i face is eating and i have to build a lot and i will have to eat and do things at the same time.It is really hard and easy because it is hard because i have to build a lot but it is easy because you have people to help you.
ReplyDeleteOn day one/ Day two i was given a job as a crafter. MY thought about this made me think that if I will ever have a moment when everybody will ask for lots and lots of things and i will have nothing done at all .Most people will count on me to have things done when they need it thats because thats kinda my job. That was my job in this role in my civilization and my thoughts of it.
ReplyDeleteFor the Minecraft assignment I was given the place as the leader of the builders. I am glad I was given this place. My job as a builder is critical to everyone, since everyone needs shelter. Troubles we may have is misunderstandings in the format, or maybe lack of talking with each other. Maybe some natural causes may come into play and cause effect on our building. -Jordan Da Potato Sponge
ReplyDeleteI find this why of teaching us very enjoyably. Its a fun game mixed with S.S.I like this method of teaching very much and hope that other students can enjoy it.In the game I am the leader of the FARMERS so the village relies on us for food it can be stress full thought...
ReplyDeleteI had mining.I think that mining is a nice job because when you find cool ore and gems it is fun.It contributes to the community because when they turn it into useful thinks they can use it for buildings and for animals. It is is pretty much useful for all the jobs. Those are my thoughts and how it will contribute to the community.
ReplyDeletehaving to keep on growing crops for every one.And then being able to have every single thing and having to keep on having thing. And having materials for for me and then having food for every one to.
ReplyDeleteI am a builder.I kind of like it,but I don't have a choice which job I got.I think that we will be challenged by many things including hunger. We still haven't eaten and our last day of this project is nearing. Also I should have confidence in my team ,but we did not build one thing yet. This project might pull together ,but I doubt it because if we don't have the essentials we won't be able to live .Unless there is a sudden miracle where everything gets done.
ReplyDeleteWell Maka, let's hope for a miracle!
DeleteI think my job is easy.My job will provide people food and help them survive. We might face lack of food but we can fix that.
ReplyDeleteI was a farmer. The farmers were Challenged by providing raw food for the civilians. We had to make sure the soil was fertilized and then we put seeds in the soil. Some challenges we faced were, seed shrtages, and other people stealing our food. To contribute to the community we gave wheat to the ranchers, and raw food to the crafters to make food, this way everyone in the civilazation had something to eat.
ReplyDeleteNida, it seems like you are well aware of the importance farmers have to a civilization.
DeleteMy initial thought of the job was thank god because I love chopping down trees and plus in real life I do a lot of lawn and garden work for other people. I do not think that there is a challenge because all I have to do is chop down trees and bring it back to the city. The only real challenge is surviving because when your in the middle of the woods its not hard to find food but when your doing the job so good it is so easy to forget about your hunger. Michael T.
ReplyDeleteI was asigned to be a lumberjack. My first thoughts were, this isn't too bad just cutting down the trees. Then i realized that there are some flaws. You may not think we will have many challenges. But we need to keep a steady amount of wood coming into the market. we also need to constanly remeber to replant the trees. But the lumberjacks job is important since we provide the builders with the wood so they can build. In conclusion being a lumberjack is a bit difficult but also kinda fun.
ReplyDeleteSage, nice job realizing the importance of lumberjacks to the civilization.
Deletemy job was to be a builder. my initial thoughts were this was going to be easy because in my version I build castle and villages in my world. another initial thought was do we have enough resources. It will contribute to the society by having a place to sleep. also it could work as a shelter to be protected. We could build temples and churches for worshiping the gods or goddess. some challenges we could face are not having resources and if the crafters can't find them. Also messing up the buildings like if we leave a spot open in the roof. I think we will be a very good contribute to the city.
ReplyDeletemy job is a farmer. we farm wheat seeds carrot seeds and melon and pumpkin and potatoes seeds. Its getting a little harder because were running out of the seeds.and we need more bone-meal. I thought at first the farmer was gonna be dumb and easy. but its actually pretty cool and kinda hard because. Were running out of seeds.
ReplyDeletemy job is a farmer.its really hard to farm because sometimes with the bone meal you double the bone meal and then the wheat grows and you dont have enough bone meal for the other bone meal.so i rather you be careful to plant. and with the melons people are putting them way to close to each other
ReplyDeleteradiyyah
My job or rolw was a miner which is when you dig for gold and more rare objects. As a miner my goal is to find as much things to help my city and I think the most challenging things we will face is digging to deep and not getting out or falling in deep holes and might die. - Amirah Watson
ReplyDeleteit might be hard to bread them.also not to die. next to keep animals in stock. My job is hard. also you need a lot of things. you need all different kind of food.
ReplyDeleteMy job is a miner. It is very simple because all i am doing is mining stone, and any other ores that we need. The only things that are dangers is lava. Also trying not to die costly on purpose.
ReplyDeleteThe challenges i think i will face is a couple because you have to grow the food right for the animals be able to have food and you have to make sure you dont plant it wrong.
ReplyDeleteI am a miner and I can help builders by giving them stone. I could also help breeders so they could dye their sheep with lapiz. A challenge that we face is falling in lava. Similar to that is water. Some people say water does not burn you. The current could be so strong sometimes that it leads you into lava.
ReplyDeleteI am a builder. The things I will incounter is building a city and homes for other people and defenses.
ReplyDeletemy role is important because we will need to see in the day light if we dont have any torches so thats my job to build a huge house and get beds off the craftman and put it in the house so we can skip dark to light.
ReplyDeletethe challaages we ranchers will face are hunger, chasing anamals.
ReplyDeleteThe challenges i think i will face is growing the right food so people would not die.
ReplyDeletemy job is mining its hard but its going to help animals and we could use for weapons. and I have to get gold and dimonds and trade last i need to go through deep caves and dig up emardes and coal.
ReplyDeleteIm a lumberjack. I got apple and wood I got in the fire it was so hard to get out.I was so glad to get out.
ReplyDeleteI am a ranchers it helps the society by giving them the food. The challenge that I have to face is no FOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!
ReplyDeletebeing a craft is simple and i help by giving resoris and it is fun.
ReplyDeleteMy job is a lumberjack. Its fun,I get a lot of saplings, wood, and apples.I love it when I see everyone doing there jobs. And getting wood for the builders. There are no challenges because there are many trees.
ReplyDeletei am a builder and i help build houes and building . my challenges are if i mass up i will have to strat of and it a lot os work
ReplyDeleteMy job is a farmer and I think it is a good job and it is easy and it is fun.
ReplyDeleteI worked with John Martin, and we were miners. There was a bunch of things that prevented us from completing our job. We feel in the mine, we got hungry, and we got stuck. We even killed a squid. To be honest we did get a lot of work done. yet, we got stuck in something that almost made us miss Market Day. I fell inside the mine hole and i couldn't get out. John was in the middle of something so i had to wait. Once i got out John got stuck (we got stuck 5 times in a row)! I had to hurry and get him out before we missed Market Day. We almost missed it. But we ended up going to Market Day 2 times! Hopefully our next day of mining will be better then Today's as we work together.
ReplyDeleteI had a lot of problems with hunger. I am a builder with vy and chris. My job is hard because we have to build for everyone that is in are class. Hunger is a huge problem for us and we need more food or we will die. Ireally like my job because im a builde
ReplyDeleteI played the role farmer. I have a cool, and fun job. I provide food for everyone and I give food to the ranchers so they can breed their animals. We farm wheat, carrots, sugar cane, carrots, potatoes, pumpkin and melons. We have to feed the builders so they don't die and drop their materials in the middle of their session. We provide food to everyone that need it and the raw materials like wheat so the crafters can make bread. This is how my job contributes to our community
ReplyDeleteIn the first day i was the captain of the crafter and my team was jamir and milan. in the first day we were bore because there were nothing to craft because the were no materials to craft so we sit here are a day long.on day 2 mr. duun were give everyone bone to make bone meals and they craft alot of bone mreals and we were busy a lot because we need to craft stuff for the bilder, brancher, farmer and miner and lumberjack. at the seccond day everyone were hungry and we have to cooked food for them and farmer is want shear and hoe to plant and brancher want more foob to breeding and get more food.
ReplyDeleteMy initial thoughts on being a crafter was was that the job was going to be easy. That was my mistake the towns people depend on us to cook food and craft bone meal also build beds and sheers. Me,An,and Milan have tough jobs we thought it was going to be easy and on Day 2 we learned that it will not be.Everyone asks for bone meal beds sheers and cooked food.I also though that when no one brings us things we can just run around in the crafters area but we have to check chest and the request books. The challenges that i think that we will face is that we wont check the chest because we will forget or we wont know how we build things. All of the Farmers,Miners,Lumberjacks, builders, and Ranchers all depend on us.WE are VERY IMPORTANT to the CIVILIZATION!!
ReplyDeleteI think my initial thought of my job is great. I love my job because i love working with animals and i love building. It will contribute to the overall society by giving us wool and food and many different animal skins. Also it will make blankets for sleeping. I think the overall challenges that we will run into is that the animals aren't gonna produce enough animals so we can kill them for there food and for their skins. Overall i think we are a good group to be a rancher.
ReplyDeleteMy job is a minor.I am with Synai. There are many challenges like falling into a hole and dieing.Or we could get attacked by creepers, skeletons, zombies and others.Sometimes if we go to deep we could get stuck. But it has been fun i killed a squid for ink and mined 24 iron we will continue to look for iron, emeralds, coal and more.We have to deliver them to the crafters then they take that and craft. Then they give them to the builders. We will acomplesh lots of goals if we work together.
ReplyDeleteI believe that my job as a lumberjack is very in important because builders rely on us a lot for wood and farmers and ranchers rely on me because we collect apples,we also collect tree saplings.I think my job is very fun and easy because all you have to do is chop down wood and collect what ever falls to the ground.I also believe in working together it makes our little community in mine-craft better and stronger.Instead of working against each other we work with each other and that is how you start a community stronger and better!
ReplyDeleteMy job is a rancher i think its a perfect job for me i think i will do a good job.The challenges i will face is having to make sure everything is correct.I have to make sure that the animals are in the pens.We have to have the correct food to feed them and make sure we don't starve to death. The people i work with is Sean and Jay nelly.
ReplyDeleteOn Day 1 of Minecraft the job that I was given was to be a Lumberjack with my friend Mya. I think that it is quite an easy job when we work together. We accomplish so much together, like giving the others wood and apples. When we chop down trees saplings fall and we replant them. The crafters need the wood that we collect to build animal pens, rooms, beds, and etc. Me and Mya think that when we work with each other we start come closer and closer to being an amazing community.
ReplyDeleteI think the challenges my group will face will probably be easy to fix. Other things may not be so easy, but if something goes wrong with the lumberjack system, we could have some issues These issues could be a tool shortage,wood/plank shortages or even a problem with decor that depends on wood. Although things could go wrong, our group needs to make sure to work together.
ReplyDeleteOn the first day I was assigned to be a crafter. I think that this is one of the most important jobs in the civilization. Thee is a lot of pressure because you have to make everything for the whole civilization. It is also fun because you do basically the most important thing. A challenge in the future might be running out of resources. I love my job and I dont think we are going to face any challenges with the help of everyone else
ReplyDeletei am a builder and i think it is easy. some challenges that i faced is that we dont have any axes. that gives us an disadvantage of taking to much time on destroying blocks.another problem is that we keep on falling off of the houses and that could kill us if we are to high in the air.those are the problems that we face or will face.
ReplyDeleteI am a lumberjack and i have to get wood and the builders depend on me and my partner to get enough wood for sticks, logs, and more.I think that my challenges are if i get lost in the forest and not get enough wood in time for them to craft things.Another challenge if you don't have anything to give on market day and they need something fast and i get lost in the woods then i will have to do nothing and wait to get something.
ReplyDeleteI was a farmer. I Thought it was difficult to be a farmer because you have to farm, plant, and deliver every thing. this contributed to the over all society because it cold help feed every one. I think I might face the challenge of not having enough food to feed every one.
ReplyDeleteI am a Rancher, I was happy with ,my selection of my job because i have some background information about the animals. Some challenges we face is running out of food to feed yourself and the animals. My job is important to our society because we give everyone food (meat) to feed everyone. By; Emily P
ReplyDeleteTho born a humble farmer I am certain my role is among few that my city could not live without.Tending crops is a simple but difficult profession, more colleges would be of help to keep the balance. This small town needs a disproportionate amount of food to keep steady and that makes farming difficult.
ReplyDelete1.) My experience as a lumber jack was pretty well. I think we got plenty of wood and then some. As far as what went well and what didn't, I think the farmers did very well and grew lots of food. I think us lumberjacks did good, too. We gathered lots of wood for building. As far as what didn't go well, in the end we didn't have any buildings or a place to sleep. So that's what what didn't get done, we didn't have any buildings in the end.
ReplyDelete2.) I think it would've been easier with more people, especially with the builders, because then more people could be working on the buildings, more people could be mining and we would have more stone, more people could be chopping trees and we would have more wood, etc.
3.) Yes, because with more people, you could probably get more work done.
4.) I don't think so, because we still needed to get the buildings done and farm the food, so we need as many people working on those things as possible. If some people had other jobs than ones that didn't directly contribute to society, the things most needed wouldn't get done in time, and most of us wouldn't survive.
As a farmer getting food to people I think was the most successful. getting all of the crops planted I think we were having a bit of trouble with. so we still need to Howe the grass and plant stuff. I think this would have bean easier with more people because then we would be able to get things dun faster. I think civilizations with more people had an advantage over others because they could do things faster then every one else. I do not think are mind craft civilization is really a civilization because we do not have any of thous things.
