Week of April 14

Kindergarten - Students will create an original piece of art in "Tux Paint".

1st Grade - Students will learn about the parts of a plane and build a foam plane from the Civil Air Patrol.

2nd Grade - Students will return after their project to receive their engineering certificate and drive the top 5 tracks from the class.

6th Grade Project - Students will learn about rockets and build a soda bottle rocket to be launched on Thursday.

Week of April 7

Kindergarten - Students will learn what makes a plane fly and then simulate a takeoff and landing in "Simple Planes".

3rd Grade - Students will use area and perimeter to help them design and build a house in Minecraft.

4th Grade - Students will learn about the space shuttle program by building a "Rocket Plane" from the Civil Air Patrol.

5th Grade - Students will finish their "Flight School" project with a lesson from the Civil Air Patrol that includes building a powered balsa plane.

Week of March 31

Kindergarten - Students will learn about the earth with a Civil Air Patrol lesson and Google Earth.

1st Grade - Students will create an original piece of art using "Tux Paint".

2nd Grade Project - Students will use the engineering design process to design and build a working racetrack in "TrackMania".

3rd Grade - Students will receive their 3D printed bubble wands, add color, and prepare for next week's project by completing the MinecraftEdu tutorial world.

4th Grade - Students will work as a team to design and build a bridge in MinecraftEdu.

Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade - Students will use engineering and creativity to create something new using "Rigamajig".

5th Grade Project - Flight School - Students will learn what makes planes fly and how to take off and land using "Simple Planes".

Kindergarten - Students will use problem solving to complete challenges in their code.org course.

2nd Grade - Students will use the engineering design process to solve various challenges.

3rd Grade - Students will design a bubble wand to be 3D printed.

4th Grade - Students will explore AI activities from Google Arts & Culture.

Kindergarten - Students will practice finding the keys on the keyboard by playing "Keyboarding Challenge".

1st Grade - Students will practice 3D design using Tinkercad.

2nd Grade - Students will use the engineering design process to build a working roller coaster with just one chain lift.

3rd Grade - Students will continue practicing 3D design using Tinkercad.

Kindergarten - Students will learn what makes roller coasters work and then create and test their own in "Disney Coaster".

1st Grade - Students will use problem solving to complete the challenges in their code.org courses.

2nd Grade - Students will use the engineering design process to build a roller coaster in "Disney Coaster".

3rd Grade - Students will learn about 3D design as they practice creating an object in "Tinkercad".

4th Grade Project - Students will learn about photo editing as they create various images using different techniques.

Week of February 24

Kindergarten - Students will return to the Lego Wall and listen to a book "Rosie Revere, Engineer" to give them inspiration for their new creations.

2nd Grade - Students will use the engineering design process to build and test a Hot Wheels track that allows a car to go around a loop.

4th Grade - Students will learn about digital citizenship as we discuss the pros and cons of photo editing and its effect on our self-image.

5th Grade - Students will use their knowledge of volume to complete various challenges in Minecraft.
