This Week in the STEM Lab - March 28-April 1

2nd Grade - Engineering Project - Students will use the engineering design process to build and test a working racetrack using the "TrackMania" program.

1st Grade - Students will be introduced to our new "Rigamajig" building set and work in partners to build something together.

This Week in the STEM Lab - March 21-25

Kindergarten - Students will build their own creation using "Rigamajig".

2nd Grade - Students will begin preparing for their upcoming Engineering Project week by practicing with the TrackMania program to build a working racetrack.

3rd Grade - Students will get to revisit the house they created in their previous project using MinecraftEdu and area/perimeter.

4th Grade - Students will continue working in their teams to build as assigned bridge in MinecraftEdu.

5th Grade - Students will use their knowledge of volume to complete various challenges in MinecraftEdu.

This Week in the STEM Lab - March 14-18

Kindergarten - Students will use virtual reality to explore the world and learn new things.

1st Grade - My School Project - Students will create a Google Slides presentation using pictures they draw, clipart they search for, and text and colors they choose.

2nd Grade - Engineering Choice Day - Students will use the engineering design process by choosing from four previous programs that we've used: World of Goo, Disney Coaster, Simple Planes, or Bridge Constructor.

This Week in the STEM Lab - March 7-11

1st Grade - Students will continue to create pictures for their upcoming "My School" Google Slides project.

2nd Grade - Students will use the Engineering Design Process to build and test bridges in "Bridge Constructor" while also building a physical bridge using our Rigamajig building set.

3rd Grade - MinecraftEdu Area & Perimeter Project - Students will design a house on paper and find the area of each room.  Students will build the house in MinecraftEdu using perimeter.

4th Grade - Students will work on teamwork and engineering while building a bridge using MinecraftEdu.
