A connection I see between what I learned in social studies and Minecraft is in social studies we learned that early human life the people had to find materials without a lot of help and they started out with nothing. In Minecraft you are put in the middle of nowhere and you have to mine all your materials, build a house, and find food by yourself like early human life. That's a connection.
The thing to make it look in real life in Minecraft the only thing that will look differnt is that it will be made out of blocks and today we were doing training for what we will be like a early person.
In minecraft you can just free roam but in this minecraft you cant free roam because you are in a tutaral.I think that it is the same as the tutaral in the minecraft but they dont you have to bild a house with stuff but in this one your not stuck you get to do opscals and flote in warter. I think the one i just played is more fun but i fell bad for the people that had to live by your self.
One connection is that in minecraft we did a tuturial which was teaching you how to learn the game. And in social studies we learned that the early humans did not know how to talk, walk and more. Also we crafted materials like the early humans had to do
There were many connections with social studies and Minecraft. One of them are that people were able to experience the survival that the early humans had to face. For example they had to experience was they had to build their own shelter. Then you had to do was build your way out of things to escape. Also you ended up moving around a lot to get to your destination. Finally I end up learning was how the early humans did not have technology back in their day.
I see that in social studies and minecraft that In social studies the challenges are the same. Like when you run too fast you get tired and hungry. And you have to tame wolves with bones. So the connection I see between minecraft and social studies is the challenges
Minecraft can realt to early men by hunting. Next is that the game has to macke wepins jest like early men. Finally early men yoused fiear alot and so dos the game. Thats is my respons
What connections I see between what I have learned in social studies and what can be simulated in mine craft is how in early age is that how they had to hunt and had to survive with nothing .Find there own places to live make there own clothes. How that simulates to minecraft is in minecraft we have to survive By Building and going through Different challenges like the people in the Middle Ages.
I think this minecraft is beter because you get do obscals but in other one your stuck in bascly a cage. I think that people that had nothing in the erly days wer like this. I think that people had to bild these houses and had to get there food and get there close.
A connection i saw between man and minecraft is that minecraft teaches you how to make tools will your accessories and that's what man did before machines
what i learned is that they both had to build stuff.also they both had to jump over things. they both had to swim in water.the last simarly thing they had to do was eat even though i couldent eat food in the mincraft that was te mine craft we did or played on today i can eat on my pocket addion mincraft.
What can be simulated in mine craft that I have learned from social studies is that back in the day no- one had the stores like we have right now. This simulates mine craft because in mine craft you don't have stores like we do now. Also you need to find food just like history. Also you need to find a place just like history.
What can be simulated in mine craft that I have learned from social studies is that back in the day no- one had the stores like we have right now. This simulates mine craft because in mine craft you don't have stores like we do now. Also you need to find food just like history. Also you need to find a place just like history.
The connections between what i had learned in social studies can be simulated in minecraft because we can use the same skills on what we do in real life like on survivel in minecraft where you have to use tools and other materials. And other materials and stuff we have to use to survive in minecraft like running takes away your energy and it's the same way it does today and you also have to use food to survive in the wilderness all around you.
The connections of minecraft is you need to survive. Is to break wood to build a house. To get food is to kill animals. You gather supplies to build a fire.
I think that there are many connections with minecraft and what we have learned in social studies such as with the animals. What we learned in social studies that the people had to hunt for big game also known as a group of animals. Also in minecrat you have to build your own shelter thats exactly what they did in social studies. Finally we learned back then they did`nt have cars just like in mincraft this can be simulated by putting us in an envierment with no food or shelter in the game of course and let us find out how to live in the wild. thats how it can be simulated and those are some connectons.
I learn that you need a lot of stuff to survive in the past. They had to hunt for food make there own campfire. In minecraft I have to craft my own suplise kill animals to survive and to make my own water. And I need to find flit and wood to make my own house that takes mouths or years to make a house from flit and wood and more stuff.I have to kill pigs and cows to get meat so I can survive.I have to kill off monsters from killing me.And that is why it is hard to survive in the Wild.
A connection I can make in minecraft that relates to social studies is that in the early humans days they did not have any thing and in minecraft you could relate to that by starting the game with no tools, food,or blocks.
Connections I seen with Social studies and Minecraft is that early humans had to survive and in minecraft you have to survive in order to live.Early humans didn't have the stuff we have now that that's almost how minecraft is in survival.
The connections i see between minecraft and social studies is, that both include survival. In social studies you use survival because it is history. And in minecraft you use survival to stay alive and get food and supplies to make stuff.
The connection i see between what i have learned in Social Studies and what can be simulated in Minecraft is that both including survival. In minecraft to survive you have to build and create a house, get supplies, and get food. But you also have to go against monsters. That is if you are outside and not sleeping during the night. In our social studies book, back then, they had to get food and they could not speak so it was hard just like it is in minecraft on the first night.
How minecraft and social studies relate because they both involve you trying to survive in social studies it tells you how people had to survive in the past minecraft is the same in that kinda way. Minecraft you start with nothing just your character its the same way in real life. Also In minecraft you have to get your own food you don't count on other people to do it for you and you build your own shelters and you have to make your own tools. In social studies you learn how they survive you start off with nothing and you have to do everything yourself build make things hunt for your own food you have to learn how to do those things in order to survive.
The connections are that in minecraft you have to survive from nothing at all (in console you get a map for free) to getting diamonds. In real life you have to get a shelter and food like minecraft. Thats how minecraft helps us understand early human life.
In social studies the cave men start off with nothing and they have to build homes, hunt for food and make clothes. Its the same case with minecraft, you start off with a world full of supplies and adventure then you have to build a shelter or home hunt for food by killing pigs, cows, sheep get meat then cook in a furnace to eat and you have to search for materials to make armor a.k.a clothes. That is how minecraft can relate to social studies and the real world.
The connection that I see between what I have learned in social studies and Minecraft is about survival. Trying to fight the end of the world, learning new things, and collecting resources are parallel to real life. But the cave men made cave art, not paintings and that is different! But this interests me very much! I can't wait for the Minecraft lesson to begin!! :)!! ~ Sophia.
I have an idea of how what we learned in Social studies can be simulated in minecraft. I think Mr.Dunn will give us each a separate world where we have to find food, fight off mobs, and basically survive. We will have to make tools, make a place to live in and survive just like the people did in Social Studies. That is how I think what we learned in Social Studies can be simulated in minecraft.
I have an idea of how what we learned in Social Studies can be simulated in minecraft. I think Mr.Dunn will give us each a separate world to survive in. We will have to make tools, fight off mobs, make a place to live and get food like the people we learned about had to. That is how I think what we learned in Social Studies will be simulated in minecraft.
Minecraft can be simulated to the early humans because in minecarft you need to learn how to get food so did the early humans and they hand to find a home in minecraft and you have to do everything your self so did the early humans. So i think you are going to make us get food and find a home to live in. Thats how minecraft can be simulated to the early humns and how they survive in the wild
There are many ways Minecraft and early humans are related. Survival mode in Minecraft is similar to early humans they had to kill there own food. They had to make there own house. In survival mode they had to do the same. We get to see what they see because in survival mode you don't see cities you see trees, dirt, rocks and more. With these reasons that's why I say Minecraft and early humans are related.
Minecraft is a 3-D game and it helps students like myself to understand different parts in a chapter. In social studies it is pretty difficult to understand some parts of the text book with out having a visual, so by Mr. Dunn letting the 5th grade learn some social studies in Minecraft it helps me and maybe some other students out because we have a visual also it's a game most of us all know and love. In Minecraft you can go in survival mode and you start out with nothing and you have to collect materials and food etc. In the dark ages (or the olden days) people had basically nothing and had to look for supplies and collect food but it wasn't that easy the same thing in Minecraft it isn't always that easy. In social studies there is a chapter that involves survival (almost all of them but this is the one I remember perfectly) the slaves were on the boat to the Americas and had to survive the long trip and they barely had food in Minecraft the same thing can happen you could spawn in the middle of no were with only one cow and you would have to cross the sea for more cows to eat. So those are just somethings that Minecraft and social studies can be connected to.
Some conections are that in minecraft and social studies are that they both have servival. You can actaly take the sound from minecraft to make it like you are an early human. They did not have langige.Another way you can conect is the they had varry little tool or no tools. In minecraft survival you have no tools so you have to make them. You even have no food. They are some ways you can conect.
The connections I see between what I learned in social study's and how it can be like mincarfted is that the first humumans had to hunt for what they needed and in mind crafted you have to do that and also they couldn't just go to the store and get the things that they need. Another thing is that the first humuans was put in difficult Situation and they had to solve the problem with there surroundings and use the things that they had just like for minecraft for example if you need stairs to get up to somewhere high in minecraft you can use dirt to build it. So those are some connections I see in the social study's and mindcraft.
The connection I see is that in Minecraft you first start with nothing then you work you way to get things you build take find different things for you to move on. Another connection I saw was in Minecraft you could not type in the chat because in the old time they didn't have a language to speck and they didn't have phones and computers or devices to use. That's some connections I made.
I can compare social studies to minecraft because they both have a survival twist in them. For example back then you had to kill animals for your food you had to build your house it was hard back then. Also there was no stores so you couldn't go to a store to get materials. In minecraft its sort of the samething your no raised in a family you have everything from scratch. You kill animals for food then you build your house. You dig things so you can amke materials and that how I can compare.:D
The minecraft progeny can connect to the early humans lessons in social studies. It connect because the early humans had no language. So mr Dunn muted our computers so we couldn't talk to each other. I can also connect the two because when we go on survival mode we will have to depend on on our sorroundings like early human.
I think in minecraft we could learn some type of survival techniques. We should learn techniques because the early humans had to learn different types of techniques or else they would not survive just like in minecraft. Some techniques that the early humans and minecraft uses are learning how to chop wood, learning how to mine, learning how to build a shelter, and how to get food. That is how early humans can relate to minecraft. By:Julia Sias
It connected because Mr.Dunn muted us because early human didn't have a language let alone be able to talk. Also i think Mr.Dunn didn't lose his mind because its taking a boring subject and making it fun.
Well minecraft lets you play on a world and its kind of like a real world simulation. You have to try and survive on survival mode but on creative you can build and have fun!Early humans had to build shelter and get food so they can survive. On minecraft we do the same exact thing on survival.
The connections bewteen Minecraft and soical studies is that minecraft in its early realse you could only walk and eating only healed you but in early humans they only knew how to walk and eat no run and jump. P.S Sorry Mr.Dunn you almost lost your mind
The Minecraft project is similar to the early humans in social studies because early humans learned over time how to survive just like we do in Minecraft. Also early humans had to find there own food and not go to a supermarket and by there own food, just like in Mincraft you have to find your own food and make your own house just like early humans did. That is how early humans relate to minecraft.
I learned in social studies people had to survive in the real world by shelter, killing animals, and making tools to help them dig. Also in minecraft you will have to make armor so protect yourself and all the things that you will do in the real world.
The similarity bestrewn min craft early ages is that you have to fight for food and build your own house you cant talk to people because they didn't have their own laughing the wast energy on running and it hard to get your food. Those are the similarity between early ages and min craft.
The mine craft project that we are doing relates to social studies because back in history people had to hunt for their own food and work for their survival and they couldn't talk because they had their own way of talking and Mr Dunn muted us on mine craft and we have to break blocks to build are shelters. And also in mine craft we have to kill animals to get food. And that is why the mine craft project we are doing relates to social studies.
when you are playing mincraft what comes to your mind you is what you learned in social studies and the they both have some similar things. In both things you have to survive and find shleter to stay away from any animals that are hunting for food for there pray. Also you have to find for tools and supplies for shelter or any other resources to help you stay alive from any other mean and hunting animals. Also you would have to find for food to help you survive or else you will die because of not eating.
the connections i have bettwen minecraft and early humans is that you have to hunt for food mine for mattirlels and you can die of hunger and overall health
the connections i have is that they have to try to find food and weapons and other materials so they could survive for the longest possible time they could
