Please answer the following questions in one comment below:
1.) Describe what it was like in each stage of “hunter/gatherers”. What were the challenges you faced along the way?
2.) Did each stage get easier? If so, why?
3.) How do you think technology advances affected the hunters and gatherers that we are trying to simulate?
4.) What differences can you see from the simulation of Minecraft to the reality of early humans' (hunter/gatherers) experiences?
On the stage of hunter/gatheres it felt like a aventure for me .The challengens i faced was that new stuff keep coming .Each stage did it got easyer because we had to do hard stuff.I think technology advanses how early in live was because you can see how they faced challenges .The diffrents betwen early humus and minecraft is THAT THEY WERE DIFFRENT CHALLENGES IN THE EARLY LIFE .
ReplyDeleteThe challenges I faced along the way were fighting for food, and fighting for survival. It got easier because I had weapons, and we were able to talk. The experience was the same as early humans because had few tools and we always died.
DeleteIt was hard to find food and you couldnt make anything or speak for the first. On the second one you could speak and you had tools and leather cloths to start you off with. Each stage did get easier the first one it was easier for you to die then the second one i had survived on the second but didnt make it through the first one.How the technology affected the hunters and gathers it helped them hunt and mine and you could make an axe to get some wood. The differences I see is in real life you wouldn't die from hunger as fast as you would die from hunger in Minecraft. Also another difference is when you die in real life you can not respawn and if you die in minecraft you can just respawn and your alive again.
DeleteThe challenges I faced were that in both stages there was little food to get. Also in the first stage you had no tools to hunt and build. Yes, as you progressed it got easier. This is because as you moved through the stages humans got more intelligent and used resources more wisely. The differences that I see is that in Minecraft it would be easier to adapt and survive while it would be harder in reality.
DeleteI faced many challeges on my way whitch is that there was no food.Q2 yes because the second time there was a sord and eaiser to get food.Q3 it helped because the tools help with killing animals.Q4
ReplyDeleteWhat i face along the way when i was playing was getting food and tools it was hard because when i was playing the animals i was trying to kill them i keep moving.
ReplyDeleteIn each stage of hunter/gathers the challenge i faced was that my hunger was going down very quickly and i couldn't find any animals for food. When i did see an animal other people were already there. The second stage was was easier because we had more supplies and were able to make shelter and food instead of eating it raw.The technology advanced because there were speers and shelters they could build and now there was a better chance of survivel.Theres a big diffrence between mincraft and (will be continued)
ReplyDeleteon the stages of the hunters and the gathers it felt like adventure. The challenges i faced was hunger and not being able to find food. Yes because in the first stage you didn't have tool. But with the neanderthals You had little fire armor and tools. tech advances because we can see how hard it was for the hunters and gathers to survive. Well the differences are that in Minecraft when you die you can re spawn but with the early humans you cant re spawn.
ReplyDeletethis is felycia and i forgot to add 1 more thing!................................. you are not human in mincraft cause its a game i say GAME!!!!!!!!!
DeleteOn the first stage I faced it was different.Since in stage one you didn't get technology. But in stage two you were able to get technology.
ReplyDeleteIn the first stage of hunter/gathers it was pretty hard. Mr.Dunn poisoned us so our food level went down quickly. Also we had no supplies when we started like the walking apes. Some people would get lucky and find the right place with a lot of food. Others would get unlucky and starve. In the second stage it was a little easier because we had a little supplies. I found some food but quickly lost it. My friend Evan wanted my food but I told him it's about survival. We were also still poisoned so I eventually died.
ReplyDeleteIn the first sage it was hard because you had to star from scratch, and he poisoned us to make it harder to live, but he wanted us to die quicker. In the second stage MR.dunn made us have tools to make us fell how they used tools and i think it was beter when we had tools but mr.dunn poisoned us a second time. I think that technology helped us find food quicker and we had tool to do it.Elyer humans did not have technology so they cold to find food as good as us.
DeleteBut in both of the stages there was either survival or more survival. The second stage was easier because you had tools but in the first one you didn't. Also you were able have a furnace with you at all times. The technology effected by a lot because you didn't have to use your bare hands to get supplies. The difference between mine craft and the reality of early humans is the in mine craft you are able to response again but in the real world you are not able to do that.
ReplyDeleteA challenge i faced was falling from tall places and trying to fined food.Q2 no the new stages did not get easier.
ReplyDeleteThe challenges that I had faced as an early human were very tough because we had no tools to survive and we got poisoned .It got much easier with the technology because we had tools and other methods to survive in the wilderness like using wood and other materials to survive. My experience was like the early humans because we could not even talk and we did not have the right materials. And as the other humans was easy because we get to talk and use tool and weapons to survive.
ReplyDeleteThe challenge was to survive. The difficult part about surviving was Mr. Dunn poisoning us to make it more challenging. The technolgy made things easier because you had weapons, but Mr. Dunn still poisoned us. Early humans were similar to us because we did not have food and could not talk, and did not have weapons.
ReplyDeleteno it did not get easier cuase suvival is compacated and also the challanges i faced were food and shelter. but experance was hard just like it was for the early humans. but i mean i guess it would be easier when he gave us tools cuase when we didnt have tools we all ddied and when i mean all i mean ALL!
ReplyDeletei forgot to say that....... YOU KILLED US MR. DUNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteeasy Felycia
DeleteChallenges we faced included fighting for food, fighting to stay alive, and not being able to talk. it got easier when we had more technology and were able to talk and we did not die so quickly. Our experience was the same as early humans because of not having the right tools.
ReplyDeleteQuestion 1:In the stage of hunters\gatherers it was pretty hard because Mr.Dunn poisoned us and there wasn't enough food for all of the class and I also fell off of high places when I pressed the wrong button by accident when we did the 1st activity comparing us to the apes standing up right. It was a lot easier with the 2nd activity the neanderthals when we had leather armor and a little bit of tools like a sword.
ReplyDeleteQuestion 2:It got easier when we were compared to neanderthals than apes standing up right because the second stage we had tools armor and we didn't have to just start off empty handed.Even though i would have been fine as an ape standing up right with no tools or armor because I play minecraft every day on my laptop at home it was hard the first stage because a lot of other people were playing besides me and they took all the food so I didn't get any.
Question 3:Technology helped the hunters and gatherers when they invented them to make life easier in things they do everyday like humans now use there phones to help us everyday to find out the news, weather etc...The hunters and gatherers used technology like traps to catch animals and fish for there dinner or the animals skin for clothing. They also had knifes, spears and swords to help them hunt down animals to eat too.Back then they had different kinds of tech than us now but their tech helped them through a lot of things.
Question 4:You can already tell that there is one big difference if you die in minecraft you respawn as in real life if you die you don't come back.In minecraft you could also just easily find trees and just punch them to get wood but in real life I'm not sure that's possible. There are so many different things that are different from minecraft and early humans. For example one is real life and one is a game but Minecraft is the best game ever invented in my opinion. Those are just some examples of the many many differences from early humans and minecraft.
it is fun being able to see how the early human. But it was more difficult than now. And the levels get easyer as they go. the technology advancing effected in a good way because the tools helped kill and eat animals. the difference in the simulation is the simulation is less realist
ReplyDeleteQ 1: Hunters Gatherers was fun! But it was hard because I lost alot of health! Food was scarce, supplies ran down, and you lose things! But I liked the second round better! You already have supplies in your hotbar. It was like the hunger games! (But no killing!) Seriously... The reason I say hunger games is because every one was hungry!! And that was one of the many hard challenges! It was complex. or not easy. I am hoping that it will calm down on thursday!
ReplyDeleteQ 2: DID IT GET EASIER??
: Yes it did! The second part was easy!! I found a nice spot with lots of animals and food supplies! The bow helped me for far away hunting, (Sniping is how I say it!) the second round was smooth sailing!
Q 3 & Q 4: The tecnology was more hard when you couldn't talk to other people because you RAGE over dying of hunger, sufficating in a wall. (I did sufficate in a wall!!) (Sand!!! :*() and no tools! But It was better when we were in the second round! You Had a FURNACE!!! WOO! and while you had your bow and sword. one for close up fighting, the other for far away! But this was ALMOST, yes I mean ALMOST! As close to the real thing... But we didn't build shelters, or make tools. We only had leather armor. Not the weaved clothing! And the Furnce was close to a fire, (Smart idea, It would be wierd to use Nether Rack and Flint and steel!) Nice try to simulate the Early Humans!
On the stage of hunter/gatherers, it was very hard. There were less resources and low food supply. The first time was really hard. We had no tools and we had to look for food and protect it, too. We had to fight for every resource and whoever found resources was lucky. Each stage got easier by the moment. It got easier because on the second stage, we had more tools already in our inventory. We didn't have to take the time to get resources by using our hands. We could just use our tools. The technology had increased. The first stage basically had no technology, unless you made tools and got food. On the second stage, since we started out with more technology, it got easier. We were able to survive longer than the first time and surviving got a little bit easier. Once the poisoning got added, then it became very hard. Every time you ate a piece of food, you would lose another food bar! The experience was very hard. Now that I think about it, this is the same experience that the early humans had. It must have been very hard for them. That was my experience to be the hunter/gatherer in minecraft. This is a very good relation to our social studies. Also, I got very frustrated!!
ReplyDelete1.Challenges were getting food and
ReplyDeletetools.
2. Yes each stage got easier.
3.technology helped because it made it easier to survive.
4.A difference is that in minecraft we were more smart because we knew what trees and grass was.
Early humans is that if u die u die for real but in the game u can just click the respond button and play again.
ReplyDeleteFirst it was hard because we had to build our tools and hunt for our food but then it was more easy because we spawned and got tools making it more easier for hunting. The challenges I faced were finding food and surviving in the game. Yes the stages got a little easier because the second time we spawned we spawned with tools that help with hunting. I think of the technology as it kinda helped them and getting more tools made it easier to survive in the game. The differences were the other animals we saw in the video were different in the game, early human didn't have block heads, and we didn't have clothes.
ReplyDeleteThe challenges we faced where very hard because. we where started out as arthopithicas and as the arthropithicas we had no tools so we had to make are own and we had starvation so are health would go down fast.but ounce you got to higher advancement levels it got easier then before because we had tolls write off the bat so it was easier to kill pray. the technology got way more advanced because they experienced more stuff by traveling so they made stronger weapons from new materials so they could kill their pray easier so they would use less weapons. One difference is that you don't have all of the animals in the real world so you don't have any thing trying to kill you.
ReplyDeleteIn the first stage it was hard because you had to start from scratcH. In the second stage Mr. Dunn gave us tools and made it easier to survive. Technology helps us survive and in earlier times they didn't have the tools and technology we do. From hailey hiles
ReplyDelete1.In each stage the challenges i faced was it was hard to get food cause it was hard to find it and you had to kill the animals with your hand so it took longer to kill the animals we had to use are hands because we had no tools to kill the animals and we were poisoned by MR.Dunn so it mad it hard cause would starve to death faster 2.the second stage got easier cause we had tools and i lasted longer then i the first stage cause I was the first one to die but i was like the 10th on to die on the second stage it was a lot easier 3.The technology that was advances was humans made tool to kill animals easier and faster and made fire to cook meat instead eat raw and sick and the made shelter for themselves and that got smarter by making something like bug spray to kept the bug off of them cause some of the animals had files all over them. The differences that i can see from the simulation of minecraft to the reality of early humans is that you can make tools in Minecraft and could cook meat but the early humans didn't have tools and they had to eat raw food and could get sick form it not knowing they thought they were surviving and living right and you could talk in minecraft but the early humans could not talk at all,
ReplyDeletehn your hand so it took longer to kill them. and we would starve to death and MR.Dunn poisoned us we die quickly
On the first stage it was difficult because there wasn't a lot of animals for me to kill and get food from. But on the second stage it was much easier because when I was looking for food I found it much easier then on the first stage. Yes I did find that each stage gets easier because we started in the really early times and the earlier time it is the harder it is because in the earlier times we had less tools and materials then in the times we live in. The technology affects the hunters and gatherers because some of the technology made the hunting easier for the hunters so they can gather food and supplies more efficiently then their earlier tools. In Minecraft you can get some materials faster then you can in real life. Also the early humans didn't really have good communication but they did have a way to communicate. Those are just some of the facts and answers to the questions.
ReplyDelete1.Each stage was hard. The challenges I faced was trying to find food and surviving. Each stage didn't' get easier. They didn't get easier because I still had to survive and find food to live and stay alive. I think that technology advances helped the hunters and gatherers that we were simulating because it helps not making it hard to cook the animals so we won't eat raw food or it helps for us to kill the animals. The differences I can see between simulating early humans in minecraft from early humans is that for early humans its harder for them to find food and survive because they have to search for food for days and maybe weeks to survive.
ReplyDeleteThe challenges that we had to face was to we had to survive without food and and make or own house and do different things to survive but the challenges just got harder along the way but therefore tools helped the hunters learn how to survive without many things that we had today unlike there was no stores wawa or anything we would survive even though they survived without them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIn each stage it was kind of hard. We had no food or supplies. Some challenges we faced were getting food, getting/making supplies, not being able to talk to each other and having the hunger effect get put on us. Each stage was about the same. Even though stage 2 we had, a sword, torches, a furnace, armor, and bow and arrows, we did not have food in both stages. So that made it harder. I think technology advances the affected the early humans by having spears, getting food and a shelter they can build. A differences I can see between Minecraft and early humans is in Minecraft we had technology to help us find food and we also have compasses. In the early ages they didn't have that, so they had to set a trap and hope a animal would come in their trap.
ReplyDeletei found in each stage it got harder because man became a smarter species.i noticed that none of the stages got easier and that with out any strategy i couldn't live.next i think technology could help them because it would make it easier for them to get food.in Minecraft they could exactly give us the real life of a neandratha.that ismy answer to the question.
ReplyDelete1.We faced many challenged in "hunter/gatherers such as finding food so we would not die and building shelter and finding items to make tools that we could use to survive. In Minecraft we we're in groups like the early humans, the thing that is most similar to the early humans was you could give food, tool and other materials that we could of needed to other people.
ReplyDelete2.Yes each stage did get easier each time because on the first stage we had nothing but on the second stage we had tools to kill the animals or to dig, I liked the first stage because I wanted to find tools by myself but then the second stage was more difficult for me cause I wanted to see my food but then I would have to take down my items so I died.
In the first stage we had no supplies at all and we had no food and we died in starvation and we also had food poisoning. Thats just like people from the past because they had to hunt for their food and if they didn't had cooked meat they could get food poisoning and die. In the second stage it was a little easier because Mr. Dunn gave us a furnace a bow a sword some food and a crafting table and also some other stuff to. Thats just like the people from the past because a couple years later they had more supplies. Each stage did get easier because the first stage we died pretty quickly because we had no supplies and the second stage we died slowly because we had supplies. Technology can help the people from the past because they can kill animals easier and they can get more supplies faster. But cutting down trees, and killing animals. The differences I see from the mine craft project we are doing to the early humans from the past is Minecraft you can die and come back to life and the early humans can't. And also the mine craft project had less to worry about and the early humans had a lot to worry about. For example they had to worry about getting food and not dyeing. And in mine craft they only had to worry about getting food. Thats my explanation of the 4 questions.
ReplyDeleteIn the first stage of hunter/gatherers was really hard because we didn't have any tools to find food and nothing to cook the food so if we got lucky to find the food we would have to eat it raw in stage 2 it got a little more easier because we had more tools to kill the animal and we had something to cook it with and the technology made a Decent difference when you would try to survive but it was still hard because when I was trying to kill the animal it kept moving away so I kept having to chase it. But when I final killed the animal I died of starvation when I died I could see the meat the I got from the animal just floating .just like the early humans had to survive and find ways to make it easier to survive in the lesson today in minecraft we had to do the same.
ReplyDelete3.I think technology does advance the hunters/gathers because we are trying to simulate minecraft to the early humans as close as possibly both early humans and minecraft you could be a person and you could have a group of people circle your pray so you could get food.
ReplyDelete4.Some differences I could see from the early humans and from hunters/gathers is that in the second stage we automatically had weapons/tools and the early humans had to work to find items to make tools, another difference is that we were fake/unrealistic people and in the early humans.
Each stage was difficult because the first stage you had to find food and have no tools and in the second stage you had weapons but you also had to find food. Some challenges I faced along the way are I couldn't find food in time so I died. Each stage did get easier because the second stage you were provided with tools and armor.Technology has advanced to show the early human days by starting the game with no food or anything. The differences that I see from the human days and the simulation is that in the simulation it is easier to hunt for food. In the early human days you had to run as fast as you could to get to your meal and kill it with an arrow by hand
ReplyDeleteThe challenges got easier because we had tools to get to make pixaxrs and kill food and we had burners we could talk to each other before we had no tools and could not talk now we can talk.
ReplyDeleteHunter was easy becaus you have soplse and the atherdid not. It got easyer When i got the hing of it.When early men haev spers we hav gons. The simmulater is not raal and early men is reale.
ReplyDeleteIn hunter/gathers each stage did get easier. In the first stage we started out with nothing at all. We had nothing to protect us, no food, and no tools. We had to eat raw food because we had no furnace and the raw food wasn't as useful so we died quicker. We were poisoned and didn't have much time. In the second stage it got a little easier because we had some materials like a sword, armor, and a furnace with coal to cook food. We had very little language but that was all the language you needed. I survived a little longer but not that much longer. It was still really hard.
ReplyDeletethe stages got a little bit easier because we got the tools the second time so that helped and the first time we had nothing .How the mine craft is simure to what we are learning is that how the people did not have tools and we had to surive with nothing .What is different about the reaty and early human is that we can get food and serive.
ReplyDelete1. The first stage was hard because we didn't have any tools and there was barely any food. The 2nd stage was easier because we acualty had tools like a furnace and armor and a sword.
ReplyDelete2.Each stage did get easier. After each stage we got more tools to use which was an easier way to live.
3. It helped because we were able to communicate the second time we did it.
4. In minecraft its easy to build and dig but in real life it takes a lot of time
1. The biggest challenge was food because you had to hunt for it and it was hard to find and finding things to make shelter. 2. yes it does get easier because you have wepons and other things to help. 3. the technology advances a lot because before you did not have anything but now you have wepons fernesses. 4. in minecraft it is so much easier than the real thing in the game you could make crafting tables but in reaity you cant do that
ReplyDeleteIn real life you can nat responed but in minecraft you can
ReplyDeleteQ4. I think a difference was that in real life there was stuff like mammoths and sabertooth tigers but in minecraft there was pigs, cows, and sheep.
ReplyDeleteI think technology advances helped affected the hunters and gathers by keeping them more protected because they made coats for the winter. They used skin to make little huts for temporary homes. They made weapons like spears to kill prey and fire to cook the meat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also, they had a little language so they could kind of talk to each other.
ReplyDeleteThe differences I see from simulation from minecraft and real life is in real life there were mammoths and those deer with antlers the size of humans. In mine craft they have pigs, cows, and more animals but not like the early humans. Another one is in real life there were harsh conditions and environments. In minecraft there is snow and rain but that doesn't effect anything.
ReplyDeleteIn the first one it was very hard because we had no tools. The second one was easier because we had tools. The first and second stages we the same because there was very little food so that means that it was hard. They did not get easier. It affected it because they had a lot of food and we had very little food. You want to know why.Well I will tell you.It was Mr.Dunn because he put very little amount of animals. The different are that we have guns and we also have food stores. They had nun of that. They had there instinct.
ReplyDeleteFor each stage of the hunters and gatheres are job was to survive and it wasvery stressful and also very annoying. The problems we faced were trying to find food wich was the hardest thing to do and trying not to get sick. Each stage got eaiser because they evaled and they got smater to. They advanced by have more advancedtools and their way of thinking was smarter to. The difference from Minecraft and early humans is that minecraft speedesup the process of what early humans would face.
ReplyDeleteWhen I did hunters and gatherers, gatherers was easier because I had tools to kill game fast. In hunters It was super hard because I had to kill game with my bare fist and it took a long time, so in that time someone else would steal it and I would chase after it, but I would catch them because I moved so slow. In early human time there would be dangers all around you and you could die easily and not respawn. That's it game over. While in Minecraft I could die and easily push the respawn button and come back to life, but I would be in heaven. If I were an early human I would have to eat raw food because they didn't have any thing to cook it with back then in the hunters mode. In our day we can fry, cook, or even barbecue our food. Also the energy could run down easily if you were in Minecraft. In early human time your energy wouldn't run down fast. But especially when I hunted because I would be looking for food and I could find any and if I found some and i ate it, I would only get 1 out of how many I need to survive. That all above is the answers to you're 4 questions.
ReplyDeleteWhen i did hunters and gatherers, one was easier than another. In gatherer mode I had tools and when I used them to hunt game it killed fast than in hunter mode. In hunter mode I had to use my bare fist to hunt for game and that took a long time. It took so much time that someone else would steal my prey and when I tried to chase after them I couldn't catch them because I moved so slow. So gatherers easier than hunters. In early human times you would have dangers all around you, a little bit the same in Minecraft, but in reality you would die for good. I'm sorry but GAME OVER!!! In Minecraft you could just hit the respawn and you would be alive again, but you would be in heaven. Also in Minecraft your energy runs down faster than in reality. When I was searching for food I would be low on energy because there wasn't any food around and if I found some and I ate it, it would only give me 1 out of how many parts of my health I need to survive. In Minecraft if you found some food you would have to eat it raw in hunter mode because they didn't have anything to cook with back then. In our day we can fry, cook, or even barbecue our food. That all above answers you're 4 questions.
ReplyDeleteBeing a hunter was way difficult than being a gatherer.I could see that people in earlier times had a hard time to survive.Being a gatherer was alittle easier than being a hunter because we were provided with tools. Both lives were hard to live in. Also being a gatherer was easier because they were able to build weapons for hunting animals for food.
ReplyDeleteIt was hard in both stages because you only had a limited time to live if you couldn't find food. Although it was hard it got easy in the second stage because you had tools. Technology made it easier because you could hunt for food from farther away. That would make it easier and safer because you had less of a chance of getting hurt while hunting. In reality you had a longer time of living if you don't eat. But in Minecraft you only had a few minutes to eat.You also didn't have clothes and couldn't respawn if you died.
ReplyDeleteIt was hard in both stages but it got easier in the next stage in hunter and gathers. The first stage we had no tools so it was difficult to get food or survive. The next stage we had tools so it was easier to get what we need but still difficult . Technology had advance a lot, we get to have a glimpse of what is like millions of years ago before electronics. The different between the simulation and reality is you live longer in real life then in Minecraft. In real life if you didn't eat you will live for a few days but in Minecraft you will live a few minutes. Another difference Minecraft was a simulation and this is what the early humans had to go through.
ReplyDeleteWell it was hard to first start out with no tools cause we didn't get to kill animals for more food or for supplies. Then when we actually had more supplies like "fire" and weapons to get food and cook it. The only thing was with the hunger effect in the first part it made it hard because I ate but it didn't do anything. It was really fun to do tough.in reality you would have clothes but In the first bit we didn't have "clothes" or tools so it was way harder.
ReplyDeletein hunters and gatherers i faced being poised and it was so hard to find food in such a food-less environment i guess that's what the hunters and gatherers felt like.yes each stage got easier because the second time you get tools and armor.hunters and gatherers were much more advanced than the chips, they ate more they hunted more and they were warmer.they both had to survive and if they died they couldn't re-spawn.
ReplyDeleteQuestion 1: it was. Very hard because it was hard to build a house and find the right food for
ReplyDeleteQuestion 2: Yes the stages did get easier because you gave us better equipment and for some reason it was easier to find food BUT it was still a little hard
Question 3: It effects the hunters and gatherers be cause in 2017 now you can just order, drive, walk to a store or call a place to get you food and then they can't hunt like normal
Question 4: i think minecraft is similar to the early humans on survival because you had to find/hunt/kill anmail for food and build/find shelter so that is my question and answer
The first stage was harder because everything you thought of was survival you didn't think about making a house you didn't think about going to caves it was all food and other recourses! Each stage got easier and easier. As you can see the first stage was hard. But the second was hard but not as hard. You had recourses this really relates to early humans because all they wanted to do was survive. Differences I see in this is that your in blocks for mine craft and in real life your walking on land. Also you wouldn't find a sheep in a tree. Another very serious thing is that you weren't to be poisened in real life easily but in mine craft you were. That's my expenation
ReplyDelete1. The challenges I faced along the way was I needed food or I would die of starvation I needed tools and we couldn't talk to each other.
ReplyDelete2.each stage got easier because I got armor so I wouldn't die as fast I had tools to kill animals faster and we could talk to each other.
3.The technology advances helps the hunter/gathers because the could could kill easier and hunt faster for food they had burners so they wouldn't eat raw meat and die of food poisoning.
4.The differences I can see between reality and the Minecraft situation is you would die much faster when we played and in the reality you would die much slower it was very difficult to find food and for most people it was easier to find food the bad part was it was raw so they could've died of food poising they did not get tools for 100's of years and didn't have burners either.
In each the first stage of hunter/gatherers it felt like I was not in control so it was very easy to die. Some challenges I faced were finding food and trying not to die. The second stage got easier because of the tools we got and the furnace, the tools helped me to kill the animals for food, and the furnace help me because we could cook our food with it because if you ate raw food you could catch food poisoning. The technology advances affected the hunters and gatherers that we are trying to simulate because when we used the tools it was much easier to kill our food then it was when we did not have any tools. A difference from the simulation of Minecraft to the reality of early humans is that when we are playing in minecraft it is not in the real world like what the early humans had to experience. In the real world during the time the early humans existed it was much harder to survive.
ReplyDeletethe first stage was hard because you had nothing and it was hard to find food to survive. Some challenges i faced were trying not to die and to find food. In the second stage it was a little easier but still pretty hard bc it still wasnt easy to find food. the tecnolagy helped because tools are tecnolagy and tools help us live.
ReplyDeleteOn the 1 stage it was hard because i had no tools to kill animals for meat. On stage 2 it was easier to get food because a had an AX to kill animals and a fire to cook the meat. Each stage got easier because we got more tools to kill animals.
ReplyDeletethe difficult challenge that we faced was starvation the stages got somewhat easier because we did not starve as much as we did the first round for hunting they had to make traps and spears they could not comunicate and it was hard to make shelter

ReplyDeleteThe challenges in the first stage were not really hard it was just preparing us for the hard stuff. But if there had to me a challenge it would be teamwork like when I had to stay with mt partner, we would somehow get separated and have to wait for the other one to catch up. But each stage got harder along the way because the challenges got more difficult which i thought that was the hard part till I reached day 2. Day 2 had its ups and downs but it had more downs than ups. I kept dying probably because I stink at video games but I can't really say the tools helped me; the almost mad it harder. But in the actual early times they seemed to have more control than on mine craft. like night and day for instance, they could actually have their fair share of day or night, unlike in mine craft you only got 15 minutes to do what you can. But overall I think this was fun to play!

ReplyDeleteThe challenges I faced along the way was getting food to survive because Mr.Dunn make are hunger go down quicker so you had to eat more food and the more food you ate the more you lose and if you did not have any food you would die no matter what. Each stage got easier because you had fire and tools to kill animals so you could get food then you could cook the food so it takes up more health when you would eat the cooked meat instead of raw meat. The differences between minecraft and real reality if you die in minecraft you get to live again you would just lose all of your supplies. But in real life if you die you don't get to live again so that is a big difference.
ReplyDeletefor the first stage you couldn't talk you were just allowed to grunt it was hard because we had no tools what so ever and i got poisoned and died. the challenges that i faced in the first stage was poison, food, water, hunting, cooking. in the second stage it was easier because we actually had tools and weapons. the challenges that i faced in the second stage was survival, food, water. each stage did get easier because in the first stage we had no weapons, no cooking place no armor,no cure for venom. but in the second stage I had all of those things. I think that technology advance affect hunters because in the first stage i had nothing no weapons nor median/armor. But in the second day i had all of the stuff that i needed to survive. In mincraft on the second stage in the beginning we got HANDED the items we need to survive. but in reality if we were thee really humans we had to craft all of those items because life is not just going to give you everything that you need to survive in your whole life.
ReplyDeleteThe challenges I faced are:survival, finding food and finding weapons. The stages got easier because we had more animals to eat and more weapons to kill and cook the meat.I think the technology advances effected the hunters and gathers that we are trying to simulate because, when we had tools to kill the animals,it was much easier then when we didn't have any weapons and tools.A difference from the simulation of Minecraft to the reality of early humans is that when we are playing Minecraft, when you die,you come back to life but, in reality, when you die, you dont comeback to life.
ReplyDeleteThe challenges we had to face being an early human was having to survive without food and a house !!!! but all was not bad becuase it got easier along the way becuase we could use tools and weapons so we could survive the night. The technology that we were trying to simulate on minecraft was different then early humans becuase everything you need you didn't have to build although they had to do that them selfs.
