I was building houses with my team and the challenge was to try to build houses and survive.

ReplyDeleteWhen i got to be the leader of the builders I was very excited because I love to build and designing things. In my opinion building is very important. Without us people would have to build their own houses or they wouldn't have houses at all. Our buildings will be important to society because people will have nice homes to live in and to practice religion in.
ReplyDeleteWhen I volunteered to be the captain of the miners, I was happy because I got the coolest job in the civilization and, I like to smack cubes. This job will contribute to the city since you basically need coal to cook and metals and ore to make tools. The challenges that my team may face is falling down the big hole and die. Another challenge could be the fact that we will have to go pretty far down and could hit the border then I would fall off the world.

Our job will contribute to society because we make all the tools for all the other jobs. We make sure that theres cooked food instead of raw.

We had the most important job so I got nervous about the people giving the request.The biggest challenges would be like doing the crafting for everyone because the people that need it right away will want it when there is other people that needs something too. when i first got picked for the rancher position I was really exited,I love animals even though in this job you have to kill them.If you kill the animals you still have to breed them so there are more to feed off of.In this role you have to breed animals kill them and make sure you have enough food for your whole society to eat.Being a rancher is one of the big positions you have to make sure you feed,kill,and breed the animals so your society can eat it,if not there's still farmers but they cant feed a whole society on there own.While your a rancher there are still challenges such as not enough food to feed the animal,and people not doing there part.Those are some things about the rancher position.

ReplyDeleteMy initial thought about this role of being a rancher is it is a simple but important job. How it contributes to society is the other people in you civilization need food for survival and material for clothing or armor. Having each job many challenges will occur one challenge each job might cross is material shortage. The crafters are the ones who give out the materials for everyone to continue the civilization but if each job doesn't supply, materials will run very low or there would be no supplies at all. One challenge I think just the ranchers will occur is low food for both us an the animals. If the animals have no food to eat, they'll die and there would be no meat or material.

My initial thoughts on my role as a farmer is that i kind of like being a farmer and it takes a lot of patience. I think that being a farmer will contribute to our community because we bring in food and other crops for resources and food. Being a farmer will also contribute to our community by getting vegetables and other foods so people wont starve. i think that we will face a challenge of not getting in food i to the storage unit or the crafts people.

ReplyDeleteIn Minecraft edu I think the challenges we will be facing as a rancher will be trying to splitting up the fences into fives. We also have to figure out what animal goes into each fence. Next is feeding the animals we have to find supplies to figure out what to feed them. Even know we have to survive to , well need to kill the animals for our city. Finally is for us to survive , well need to come up with a plan for us to all survive.

ReplyDeleteMy roll is to mine. This is very important for the society because when we mine we get stone, coal, iron,and dimond. Those are all good for building wepons to kill animals for food, tools for lumbering, shovles to dig to grow crops, and even for my group to mine. I think that some of the challenges that I am going to face are that when I am mineing that I don't fall into a ravean. If I do then the only way to get back up is to die and it's really easy to fall in one because it's like they appear out of no where.

Ceaftman is a pretty difficlt job because every one is asking for food, or diffrent things every one need. I think this is a pretty good way to learn in very fun ways.

It still was hard to mine because we needed torches, food, and furnaces and so many other things.it was hard trying to not take damage and try not to fall inside lava.Being a miner is hard but hopefully it will be better in the next lesson.Living in the city stateso was hard but you'll get the hang of it.

I was assigned a farmer in our classroom " civilization ". in my group of farmers ( Mia , Magenta and me ) we have to provide food to our " civilization". I think we provide a lot for our " civilization ". We help everyone survive so they don't starve to death. In my opinion I think our job is rather easy. The only challenge my group faces is the crops don't grow fast enough. Luckily the crafters provide bonemeal. The only hard part is splitting the two stacks of bonemeal for five rows of twenty crops. Those are the only challenges we the farmers face. That is what I think about my job assigned in MinecraftEDU.

Some of the challenges i think we will face thing throughout are project like, we may run out of things to build with and we won't be able to provide and support are civilization.The area we have to build on is not good enough to expand and build more. My job will contribute to the society by giving the people things to do in the civilization and places to live in the town. I honestly think the job i have is the hardest but i like it it will provide for everyone and i can add designs and thought and opinions on what were doing.

ReplyDeleteMy initial thoughts on the role of lumberjack is that it will be a very easy role.I also think the role will contribute to the overall society because the wood will be used to make other things.The challenges I think I would face would be running out of trees or having no more axes to break the trees.
ReplyDeleteEvery job we had was vital to our survival as a civilization but, today I will be talking about my thoughts of my job only. Now many challenges will be faced since, I am a farmer. An example of one the challenges that will be faced would definitely food shortages since farming does take time. Another challenge I think will be faced would be not getting enough seeds to plant crops because, the amount of food or seeds you get when you harvest foods are at random. That would also be a cause for food shortages which will cause everyone to starve and, once people start losing to much hunger, the whole civilization will fall apart. My role will have a great purpose in survival because, it serves a huge part of what we need to live and, without it everything would be a mess. This is my thoughts of my role in this civilization and, the challenges we might overcome.
ReplyDeleteWhen I got the part of leader in miners, I thought that it wasn't as bad as I thought, but it was fairly hard. The one thing that was fairly easy is that when I had to mine, and one of the hardest problems that most people had made was that they might or might not fall. I think that the challenges that the group will face is when someone needs to get out of a cave or ravine. Another problem that they might face is when a group member will need food and they're low on hunger and has to walk to find food.

I think we will face some challenges while surviving as a group. One challenge we could face is running out of certain materials that we need such as things for making tools. Another problem we could face is that the farmers and ranchers don't have enough crops and animals to feed everyone. If one of these problems happen, we will have to find a way to survive.
ReplyDeleteWhen I got picked for miners, my initial thoughts about how this role and how it will help the society by producing energy, using coal for medicine, soap ,plastics etc. This really got my attention because I like how miners find rocks and cool minerals. They use these to make items that help the society for peoples well being. I think the challenges that we will go through will be trying to mine in the dark. Also, trying to make sure the equipment works properly.

My job will help with cooking food by using coal that we gather, making armor, as well as stronger tools for everyone's important jobs. My job also can become very dangerous and hard. We will face many difficulties with the chance of falling lava or suffocating from gravel. We also face the chance of being lost or falling from high spots. However, although dangerous and hard I still love this job and I'm happy I was chosen for it.

Lumberjacks help the society a lot not even though the lumberjacks aren't as important as the farmers and builders. the lumberjacks help get wood and apples. the apples help a lot because the apples are feed to the animals in the ranch. The big challenge the lumberjacks are going to face are finding apples overall today we only found three apples which isn't a lot to feed the animals.

ReplyDeleteI was super exicited when I found out I was ranching because it’ll be fun trying something new, as well as trying to survive Ranching is a gigantic part of a civilization. If you don’t have the animals you won’t have the supplies to live. The animals give us many materials. The materials the animals give us will help us survive. One of the biggest problems my group is facing is lack of team work. My group barely talks to each other, therefore no one knows what they’re doing. Another problem is my group is really competitive even though we are working as a group. This week my main goal is to do my job and survive, how hard can it be?

Another challenge me and my group faced was that we kept taking the wrong seed so we would not on purposely do it but we planted the wrong seed and then we had to start over. Last but not least, the last challenge me and my group faced was that we kept having to go back to the Building area and that would that would take up a lot of our time. Here are three challenges that me and my group had to face as Farmers.

ReplyDeleteMY job as a builder is a very difficult and time consuming job. with team work i feel if us builders work together we can get what we need to get done.
Some of the challenges were some of our team mates were dying.Other challenges were we were losing blocks and we did not have enough.Another challenge was communition. Another challenge was we kept falling in the water.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was selected to be a crafter, I thought that this would be an easy job, but when my captain, Kendall, read the instructions, I was surprised that this is the most difficult job, and possible the most boring-est jobs, but I thought I could do this. The problems that might occur as a crafter are the resources, we can run out quickly, especially wood, wood is the most essential material because it is used for almost everything.

ReplyDeleteThe reason why I think that mining is easiest job is because you can mine diamonds and coal easily if you have the right materials. I will contribute to overall society because you need to have food and a lot of materials to survive. I am contributing by working with my teammates very well. Then when it comes to mining it is hard to try not to fall in the mine all the way down.
